I recommend using African Nightcrawlers if your goal is to create LOTS of castings indoors. African Nightcrawlers are huge and excel over all other species in devouring brown material such as paper, cardboard, leaves, peat moss, coco coir, manure, compost and yard waste!

African Nightcrawler Compost Worms (ANC / Eudrilus Eugeniae) for indoor/warm climate raising.

ANCs are recommended for raising in indoor/warm environments and thrive in temperatures above 20 degrees celsius.

They are the one of the largest commonly used compost worms and can eat the most and produce the most castings of the varieties. They can co-exist with other worm species.
