The most versatile compost worm I have found! Super Red European Nightcrawlers are larger than red wigglers, eat more, multiply fast, and are tolerant of a wide variety of conditions! I recommend Super Reds to any worm farmer, especially beginners. Commonly used as a fishing worm as well! Also known as Big Reds or European Nightcrawlersthey are the most popular compost worm in Europe!

1 pound of worms processes 2-3 persons worth of food scraps. 1 pound mix of adults and juveniles will be roughly 800 Super Red European Nightcrawlers.

Super Red / European Nightcrawler Compost Worms (ENC / Big Reds / Eisenia Hortensis) for indoor and outdoor raising.

ENCs can tolerate a wide variety of temperatures between 0 and 35 degrees celsius but thrive in temperatures above 20 degrees celsius.

They are the cousin to the Red Wiggler (Eisenia Fetida) but can grow larger and eat more. They can co-exist with other worm species.
